How Doggy Day Care Training Works
Our doggy day training operates much like a school. On a typical day, dogs engage in both individual and group sessions, practicing basic commands such as sit, down, recall, and bed. For dogs with advanced skills, we offer opportunities for further training.
We will follow your preferred feeding schedule for your dog, accommodating all types of food, including raw feeding. Our facilities are equipped with fridges and freezers to store your dog’s food as needed.
Initial Assessment
All new clients must complete a comprehensive two-hour one to one introductory session before booking the doggy day training service.
All Dogs Welcome
We welcome reactive and nervous dogs, all size dogs and all breeds, providing careful attention to their needs. Socialisation is fundamental to our day care programme.
Play & Cuddles
An exceptional all rounded school, we ensure there's plenty of fun and playtime with the dogs, along with lots of cuddles, too.
Food & Transport
We operate a home collection and drop off service in our specially equipped vans. You will be responsible for providing your dog’s food for the duration of their stay.
Pay as You Go Daycare Sessions
For clients who want to leave their dogs with us for day care and training. Overnight stays are also available. Pricing may vary based on location.

Leaving your nervous dog in a safe and comfortable environment is important for their well-being.
We have extensive experience in caring for anxious dogs. Having worked with rescue centres and rehabilitation kennels, our staff is very knowledgeable about handling nervous dogs.

Doggy day care training operates much like boarding school, it is a type of dog training programme where the dog stays with us for a minimum of one day and up to a couple of weeks. During this time, the dog undergoes training sessions tailored to address specific behavioural issues or to teach obedience and other desired behaviours.
Yes, we recommend puppies to join our daycare training programme. The sessions can be beneficial for puppies, providing them with a strong foundation in obedience, socialisation, and good behaviour.
At K9 Generation we offer 2 options of doggy day care training prices:
- From £90 per day when your dog stays with us for the day.
- From £50 per night for overnight stays in our comfortable kennel bedrooms.
We pick your dog up from 8am and drop it back after 6pm.
One size does not fit all, every dog is unique, and training methods will be tailored to the individual dog’s personality, breed, and behaviour. Building a clear and positive picture for the dog is a fundamental aspect of our training.
To ensure the success of your dog’s training and maintain the progress made during day care training, we will provide feedback and give advice after your dog’s stay.
Residential boarding is an intensive, bootcamp-style program conducted over an extended period, designed to address specific behaviours and develop better character in your dog. In contrast, our doggy day care training service is for shorter periods, but shares the same goal of tailoring the training to meet your dog’s specific needs.
