Many owners reach out after trying other training methods without lasting results.

Common situations we help with include:

Without consistent training, these behaviours don’t improve long term.

When these behaviours become part of daily life, it can feel overwhelming and frustrating.

Residential training allows us to work with your dog consistently in a controlled environment so behaviour patterns can change properly – not just temporarily.

How Residential Dog Training Works

During the programme, your dog stays with a professional trainer and follows a structured daily training routine designed to build reliable behaviour and clear communication.

Your dog lives with a trainer and trains daily.

Because training happens every day, we can address behaviour issues properly and build strong foundations that hold up in real-world situations.

During the programme your dog receives

Training focuses on developing behaviour that continues once your dog returns home, not just during the programme itself.

At the end of the programme, owners receive a handover training session so you understand exactly how to maintain your dog’s progress moving forward.

Aidan was fantastic with our dog Ozzy. We found Aidan to be kind and very knowledgeable. Ozzy is leash reactive and his recall was not good either, but the tools that Aidan gave us are going to be a real game changer. We implemented them immediately on his return home and Ozzy has responded brilliantly, even his recall is getting better. Ozzy is 15 months old and still has a lot to learn, but we know we have the confidence going forward. We do have ongoing support from Aidan if we need it.
We highly recommend Aidan to anyone who is looking for a very friendly and knowledgeable trainer. Thank you Aidan very much.

I cannot speak too highly of K9. Our English Bulldog George went to them as a virtually uncontrollable dog and came back a perfect gentleman. I didn’t think it was possible.

I can’t recommend K9 Generation highly enough, especially Letitia and Amy. Letitia organised everything so smoothly and paired us with Amy, who worked with our 8-week-old Show Cocker puppy in our own home for two weeks. Amy was incredibly patient, caring, and professional, carrying out all the training and settling our puppy at night to avoid disturbing the other dogs in the house and the children. We saw amazing progress in such a short time and felt completely supported throughout. Thank you both for such an outstanding service which was organised swiftly and seamlessly.

I went to see Alex and the team with my cockapoo and in one session I learned how to walk him on a lead, and a couple of basic commands, it has helped so much to develop my dog and enjoy walks and spending time together.
